Ammut is ruff-and-tumble, annoying and somewhat ugly watchdog for the "Trackers of Souls" that was, to Scarab's dismay, left behind by the Trackers. He now lives with Scarab, who tires to use the beast as an attack dog, though Ammut's bark is often far worse than his bite.
As to his appearance, Ammut has the hindquarters of a hippo, the head of a crocodile, and front legs of a lion.
Ammut acts much the same way as any normal mortal dog would. He's curious, and has the same wants and needs as any dog.
