Scarab creates the "living nightmare" scorpion. Which he then delivers to Presley. Who falls into a dreamlike state, seeing things through Prince Rapses eyes 3500 years ago.

Synopsis[]

Scarab spits out a "living nightmare" scorpion. He gets his shadow to deliver to Presley without his knowledge. Presley falls into a dreamlike state, joined through dream with Prince Rapses 3500 years ago. In the dream, Presley sees Rapses' mother, Scarab, and each of the Mummies as they were back then.

Presley, in his sleep-trance starts to wander around school, uttering magic words that turn Mr. Huxley's pointer stick into a snake, and flips a school-kid using Egyp-Tsu. After some time the Mummies start to wonder where he's run off to and go looking for him.

Finally (in his dream state) Presley sees how Rapses was lured by Scarab to the top of a mountain by creating an illusion of Rapses' father. At the same time Presley is similarly lured to the top of a building where Scarab is waiting for him. Just as Scarab readies to remove Rapses' soul from a helpless Presley, the Mummies arrive. Shabti then surround the four, which then the Mummies transform and battle against most of them. Presley then properly wakes up, and finds out where he is.

Scarab then transforms and throws Ja-Kal down, telling him that when the prince is done for, he'll have no need need any guardians. Presley then is blocked by a Shabti, in-which Armon throws it at Scarab, allowing Ja-Kal to move in safety to protect Presley. Scarab then targets the rest of the Shabti at the Mummies, wanting them to be crushed and pushed over the edge. Presley however hears the words of Scarab and kicks a water tower, making it collapse and release a flood-load of water onto the roof of the building, washing away all the Shabti. Scarab tries to save himself using his manicure claws, but it isn't enough and he falls down many stories.

Back at the Sphinx, Rath and Armon are watching a news report on that the Sphinx would not be demolished for the time being, with Armon wondering how they can be in the magic box and in the sphinx at the same, with Rath saying that kind of thing is too complicated to explain. Meanwhile, Presley sees Ja-Kal, and asks him if the living dream he had was real. Ja-Kal explains that it was and that they did find him, but weren't able to save him, his family, or themselves, blaming himself for not fulfilling the pharaoh's promise on protecting Rapses. Presley says that he'll promise to make it up to him.
